About Me
A 2019 graduate of the Ohio State University, Adam Murray received a Bachelor's degree in Music Education while studying under Dr. Robert Gillespie and Dr. Kia-Hui Tan. As a student, he participated in a variety of music festivals and ensembles as well Masterclasses with Peter Otto, Andrew Sords, and Julian Ross, among others.An avid freelancer, Adam can be found playing in venues across northern Ohio and the Columbus area.
In February of 2024, Adam was named to Yamaha's 40 Under 40 list for excellence and advocacy in the field of music education. During that same time, he was awarded Ohio's Young String Teacher of the Year.
He is often described by critics as "not the guy we came to see" and by his mother as "a very handsome young man"
